SIS downtime: 2/25, 5PM through 3/1, 7AM - ealtman - 02-11-2021
The SIS and SIS Mobile will be down February 25 2021 at 5 p.m. until March 1, 2021 7 a.m. for a system upgrade. We rely on SIS for the Alma patron load file, so we will not receive new user data during the downtime.
We expect to receive a new file on Monday evening, to be loaded in Alma on Tuesday morning. New users added from Thursday and through the weekend will be loaded at that time. Because we are mid-semester, there will probably be few new users, but if a new student or staffperson would like to borrow physical materials, and is not yet in Alma, library staff would add them to Alma as an External user using the normal process. We receive a full user file from SIS daily, so when we receive updates on Monday evening, it will include all new users and any updates.

SIS/SIS Mobile Unavailable February 25 – March 1
As a reminder, this is a major system upgrade scheduled this week. The Alma patron load will be delayed per Emily's message, and we do not anticipate further impact to library services. Just in case you get questions from students, two non-library student-facing services will be temporarily unavailable during the maintenance window: Student Information System (SIS) & SIS Mobile. Both will be down for system upgrade from 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 25 until 7:00 a.m. on Monday, March 1.
This SIS outage will directly impact:
- Registration via Navigate Student (students should still be able to set up appointments and access their to-do lists)
- Access to the online application system for college admissions.

"Online Admissions/XAP is down due to extreme performance issues with SIS. Engineers are working to resolve the problem."
