Call for Proposals: VCCS Library Lightning Talks Series - tcassidy - 02-23-2022 Dear Colleagues, In lieu of attempting a full-scale peer group meeting this spring, I write to solicit your proposals for lightning talks (5-7 minutes total) on topics of interest to VCCS libraries. Some suggested themes: • LibGuides Show and Tell • New and Now - Information Literacy Instruction Innovations • Making Alma Analytics Work for You • If your idea doesn't really fit into one of these categories, no problem, please propose your talk anyway! Date: The session date(s) will be late April through May; exact session dates TBD based on presenter availability. Ideally there will be enough speakers to create a several 45-minute sessions with multiple talks on a theme, with plenty of time for Q&A. Format: These sessions will be held via Zoom. These are to be lightning talks, no more than five to seven minutes total length. Presenters should briefly describe a program, initiative, or event and highlight the results or lessons learned. Please submit your lightning round proposal using this form no later than Friday, March 11: https://forms.gle/jzwPHymGhUNhesp38 |
