Weeding/Disposal/Discarding

I have no tips. Just coming to say that I am struggling through this right now also. I have begged for help from our facilities folks on using GovDeals, as my VP of Finance prefers. We have a severe need to weed and I have yet to get traction. My request is about 2 months old at this point, with several reminders/prompts. Discards were discussed at a recent VIVA Library Leaders forum and there seems to be a disconnect between policy and practice. I agree that the policy is likely in need of an update. And whoever is in charge of updating that policy needs to understand that the material we often discard is not desirable for resale. Heck, it's not even desirable for recycling as-is!
