Hi, Everyone,

I just posted this in the Springshare Lounge, but I wanted to post it here for those who don't visit the Springshare Lounge.

I have built two prototype guides that employ Bootstrap 3 components for navigation purposes. One prototype uses collapsible panels and the other uses scrollspy. I have found that these alternative navigation “designs” are more user-friendly than the tabbed navigation used in LibGuides. I’m working on a write-up that will provide details. Here are links to the prototypes:

The admin pages for the various apps in LibApps, e.g., LibGuides, LibAnswers, LibCal, are styled slightly differently. For example, the font size of the admin pages in LibGuides is much smaller than it is on the admin pages of the other LibApps. I tried adding CSS for the LibGuides admin pages to the CSS for the public LibGuides pages but it didn't have any effect. Was I using the wrong CSS selector(s) or is there a special way to apply CSS to admin pages?

Hi, Everyone!

I have found the HTML code of the various pages in LibGuides: Admin > Look & Feel > Page Layout > [list of pages]. Is there a way to access the CSS code of the pages as well?

I found the sample CSS code that Springshare posted on this page: https://training.springshare.com/friendl...es/sandbox. Here's an example of the CSS code from the sample:

/*styles box titles*/
.s-lib-box .s-lib-box-title {
background-color: #e8e8e8;
font-size: 24px;
font-weight: 700;
color: #28536B;
}

In this example, the CSS selector (I think that's the right word) is: ".s-lib-box .s-lib-box-title". My question is: how do you find out what all the selectors are for a given page?

When I click on either of the drop-down menus, then move my mouse outside of the dropdown buttons, the text of the buttons turns white. I want it to stay black. I've attached the HTML and CSS code that I'm using. I'm hoping that someone is willing to review the code to try to find the problem. I would appreciate it very much. Thank you!

  I'm new, so forgive this newbie question. Just wondering if there is a system wide deal for the CMS version of Libguides for any / all VCCS libraries? I would really love to upgrade for our location. What are my options? And does VCCS have any other deals for other Springshare products? Having the whole Springy Suite would be MARVELOUS!
