Reaching out to get some insight on how other college libraries that are undergoing a name change will be handling library materials with previous college name logos and verbiage. (ex.: previous name library stamped in front of books, barcodes with previous college name, etc).

Great question Nova!
At Tyler, Becoming Brightpoint, we plan to order barcodes and book stamps with the new name. Books cataloged/processed starting in 2022 will have Brightpoint on them. We have no plans to go through the print collection and re-stamp the books, or to re-barcode the existing collection.
The library team will be very busy with making name changes to our web presence/LibGuides and with our vendors.
However, if our administration would LIKE us to re-stamp and re-barcode all of our materials, we will do so. This is likely to be a yearlong process.
I hope this helps in some small way.

We will not be going back and restamping old books either, or replacing bar codes. Just using the new name going forward, although we haven't started yet.
