"Dear Colleagues,
We’re very pleased to announce that registration for the Virtual Spring VIVA Community Forum, to be held March 18th from 10-12, is open!
The theme of this year’s Forum is “Community and Collective Action: What’s Next?”, and will feature Heather Joseph, Executive Director of SPARC, with a talk titled “Open by Default and Equitable by Design: The Future of Knowledge Sharing”, a consortium update by VIVA Director, Anne Osterman, and a series of lightning talks from VIVA Member Libraries.
Additionally, VIVA will be offering a Pre-conference Workshop on March 17th from 1:30-3:30, facilitated by Dr. Nancy Falciani-White, Library Director at Randolph-Macon, introducing creativity in an academic library context, where participants will develop practical strategies to support and enhance creativity personally and in the work environment.
