Parham Campus Library has over 400 surplus black magazine file cases available, boxed in lots of 8-14 on average. Most of them are like this: https://www.demco.com/demco-reg-cut-corner-file-cases . We have applied clear label holders.
These have been available through the state surplus auction and not sold, so now we are just looking for any state or local agency, school, or even charitable organization who might could use some or all of them. You pick up. Or, if you are local to Richmond I might deliver what I can fit in my car.
Why would you want up to 400 (more, really) magazine file boxes? You might have an eclectic periodical storage collection and prefer a more consistent look. You might be getting a new public library branch who could use this kind of storage.
I'd really like to keep these out of the dumpster. It's not the kind of plastic that recycles.
