Transition to the new OCLC file exchange servers - tcassidy - 03-10-2020

Someone at your college may have received the message copied below from OCLC this week. Thank you to DCC, GCC, and NRCC for alerting the SO to this important change. The OCLC server path was part of your Alma implementation setup. Emily is testing this change in order to have it in place for all colleges by the end of March. There is no need to open a support ticket to have this done.

Hello,
Have you made the transition to the new OCLC file exchange servers yet? The March 2020 Alma release gives users the ability to indicate an absolute path, which is needed for the Alma publishing profiles to work with the new OCLC file exchange accounts. You may update your Alma settings immediately to complete the transition to the new OCLC file exchange servers but will have until 30 April 2020 to make the change. Please see How do I synchronize holdings between Alma and WorldCat? for more details.

For additional details on the transition, please review the documentation and, if you have additional questions related to this change, feel free to contact OCLC Customer Support.

Best regards,
Ms. Pat DeShetler

It appears that the deadline for this change is now the end of September 2020. Emily has already taken care of this for all except Camp and Highlands, which are in process. Thanks,
Tara
