Publish to OCLC - kdotson - 08-13-2018
Hi,
Has anyone heard back from OCLC about Worldcat showing our holdings? I have been e-mailing OCLC support, and I am at a bit of a standstill with them right now. They are asking me to troubleshoot our SFTP configuration, so I just wanted to check in to see if anyone else has found a solution.

No, this problem is ongoing system-wide. I have stopped the publish jobs until OCLC support can clarify what needs to happen here. Based on initial investigation at TCC, there are likely several things to correct at this point:
1. Your data sync collection status - is it Submitted/Waiting for acceptance, or Approved by OCLC?
2. Communication from OCLC Data Sync specialist received? There is a Comments section on the data sync collection that may have information you need to review.
3. OCLC data sync collection setup - should be Bibliographic only, not Bibliographic and Local holdings.
4. Alma OCLC FTP settings - OCLC has to clarify, because ours are obviously incorrect.

Should we continue to try to troubleshoot individually with OCLC or want until you have some more clarification?
I've been going back and forth with them as well and they are telling me that they're seeing records that have been uploaded via FTP, but I have no idea how that is happening or what they are. I don't even have a working FTP client.

I've just received some information from OCLC, which I put into a support ticket, but thought I'd add it here in case it could be of help to anyone else.

The OCLC publish directory is now corrected for all colleges.
