Ex Libris data center migration with Alma/Primo downtime, 5/29-30 - tcassidy - 04-13-2021

Summary: In late Feb21, the vendor’s data center host advised they would cease operations at the current location. Random! So, Ex L is moving our NA04 (and some others) instance to an Equinox data center in Seattle. Equinox is the same partner Ex L uses for hosting in Chicago. All customers will see a big email announcement with details about the move tomorrow. The message tomorrow will give instructions on how to register for the status page for NA04.

VCCS Impact: Primo and Alma will be down for up to 24h. Users will see a maintenance landing page during the migration. All IPs / URLs will stay the same, no impact on authentication.

Migration Window: Sat. May 29, 11 PM - Sun. May 30, 11 PM (Memorial Day Holiday weekend)

Ex Libris advises that the "the data center migration from Moses Lake, WA to Seattle, WA was successful. Please test your environment to ensure that your applications are operating as expected. Note there may be a delay in the completion of scheduled jobs over the next 48 hours. All jobs that were on hold are rescheduled."
