VCCA Learning Resources Commission call - buttramc - 04-28-2022
Passing along this request. Apparently there are no current officers for the LR Commission.
"My name is Peggy Manuelito from Tidewater Community College. I am the MAL and liaison for the Learning Resources Commission for the VCCA. We are excited about your interest in the Learning Resources and hope we can work together to get this commission active again. Ms. Susan Simmers has sent you information regarding all aspects of the LR commission.
As you know we are in the process of planning our annual in-person conference (finally after Covid). Each commission holds their meeting at the conference since Covid, we are trying to recuperate from the loss of colleagues. These colleagues were very active in the LR commission and had officers. Now, we are trying to get things moving again. The VCCA is taking applications for concurrent session presenters and a program for the meeting at the conference. If you have any ideas, concerns, or suggestions regarding the commission, please let me know.
Let’s work together and help the VCCA establish this commission to where it used to be. Also, if you have colleagues that could help us in our endeavors, please forward my information.
