--Via Sage Publications:
"Let’s talk data skills for students! In today's data-rich world, community college students need to learn the essential, practical data skills to succeed in their courses and post-graduate paths including the professional world and 4-year university studies.
Join us in conversation with Julia Bauder, M.L.I.S., and Dr. Aeron Zentner where they will cover:
• Where students are with data skills today
• What are the particular data skills students need to master
• Where the library can help faculty in terms of data literacy instruction
• Examples of how they have helped students learn data skills
• Examples of how faculty and librarians can partner to further data literacy learning
• What skills are on the rise in the data landscape
