EBSCO LTI integration now available in Canvas

Perhaps you already saw the update from Ebsco:

"EBSCO now supports Learning Tools Interoperability (LTI) for EBSCOhost® and EBSCO Discovery Service™ (EDS). LTI enables faculty to search for, and link to, content from EBSCOhost and EDS within a learning management system (LMS) or virtual learning environment. This enables faculty and students to easily access your EBSCO research products directly from the Canvas LMS."


I am testing the setup now, and once I have a bit more info from our Canvas admins I will post guidance on this ASAP.

The Canvas system people may be able to do this system wide if they have the EBSCO parameters.  When I did LTI for our LibGuides into Canvas, our college Canvas person had to send the info to Richmond and they did the integration.  Not sure if it will work this way but it wouldn't hurt to inquire.
