Do we need to be doing anything about this?
Dear Colleagues –
Unfortunately, the planned perpetual access to the 2010-2017 PsycBOOKS content (title list attached) via the APA platform following VIVA’s cancellation of the shared subscription for the public institutions is no longer an option for institutions without a continuing local subscription to PsycBOOKS. For the institutions without a local subscription, there are two options:
• APA will create an FTP site so that institutions can download the content.
• Portico subscribers can download the content there.
I’m very sorry this is the case. I will delete the titles from our WorldCat knowledge base collection, and those of you sharing the collection will hear from Sophie about deselecting it. Depending on your local situation, you may need to delete the associated catalog records.
Best –
Anne.
