Item Count by Library and Location
#1
Hello Everyone!

Does everyone have access to the "Item Count by Library and location" widget for their institution? I am noticing it on my ALMA Dashboard, but I am getting the following message:

This widget cannot be displayed because it is located in the Alma directory and not in the institutional directory. Please copy the widget to the institutional directory and define the Analytics object from there. For details, click here.

When I click on the "Click Here" hyperlink, it explains that I have to go to the ALMA directory, but I am not sure if I have the proper access level to do so. How can I access it?

Thank you for your patience with me!

Hello,

Here's the video about creating widget: http://exl-edu.com/01_Alma/Alma_Administ...html?lms=1

In Alma Analytics catalog, you have to find the "Item Count by Library and location" following this path Shared Folders/Alma/Inventory/Reports. Then on the report, click more then Copy, then Paste it to your Institutional folder. Feel free to email me if you need more help.

Hi Michael,

ThIT is my guess I need to have a higher level of access to get that feature? Thank you so much for your reply. IT helped out a great deal. I have noticed from the video that I should see "Analytics Objects" in my menu when I click on ANalytics at the top in the blue banner. I do not have that feature on my menu.

If you aren't seeing the Analytics Objects List, you may be missing a role. You could contact the System Office about it through their ticketing system.

Thanks so much for the reply!

I contacted them and got some tips from several of our colleagues. I am good and moving forward now. Thanks so much for everything!
