OEN Allied Institutional Membership upgrade option
#1
Dear Colleagues,
As you know, VIVA participates in the OEN as a Consortial member. This automatically grants VCCS colleges membership in OEN.

As a reminder, OEN offers the option to upgrade college membership type to Allied. As an Allied Institution, your college would enjoy direct access to the OEN, including:
•    Access to the community of practice
•    Direct access to the data dashboard to help track your open education work
•    Support for open textbook publishing
•    Opportunity to attend the OEN’s Summer Institute and Summit as an institutional member (VIVA will continue to support sending four people centrally)

For more information about Allied Institution status, please see the
1.    FAQ: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1zPNU...pIPc0/edit
2.    Benefits summary: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1IWEZ...qPZrs/edit

If you are interested in upgrading, please contact me. The upgrade is a $500 annual cost that would become part of your annual enterprise charges.

DOAJ/OENAI FY22 participation and costs are summarized here based on college survey responses. Please review and advise if there are corrections. I will send this to VIVA Central tomorrow (Friday 5/21).
