Please be aware of this change, per VCCS ITS:
--------------------------------------
"As of March 2021, ZOOM cloud recording storage capacity reached 84% which prompted academic and technology groups to develop a procedure for managing ZOOM cloud recordings. The group’s recommendation of a 12-month retention period (plus an additional 30 days in the recycle bin) was made to Technology Council last week and was approved.
Beginning Wednesday, September 1, 2021, ITS will reconfigure ZOOM recording retention to automatically delete recordings older than 12 months.
What does this mean to you?
• If you have ZOOM Cloud Recordings older than 12 months, they will be marked for deletion on September 1, 2021.
• Future ZOOM Cloud Recordings will remain in your ZOOM account for 12 months, then they will be marked for deletion.
• If you have ZOOM Cloud Recordings older than 12 months that you would like to keep, you need to download and store those recordings outside of ZOOM.
When considering where to store downloaded ZOOM recordings, your Microsoft OneDrive and Google Drive are great options. Both services are cloud-hosted, making it easy to access your recordings, and are better choices than storing files on your PC, which is susceptible to hard drive failures."
