"Search my library's online catalog" link issues SOLVED
#1
We had an interesting issue in Worldshare with the "search my library's online catalog" link since we went to Primo VE.

When you click on the “search my library’s online catalog” link you get a no records found page that has a string of numbers in the search field, and says there were no results matching your search. And yet if you click on the magnifying glass to do a search with the prepopulated string of numbers the record comes up.

Has anyone else noticed this? Do you know how to fix it?  We tried adjusting the URL reslover but that didn't work.

Link issue solved!

The solution:
In Worldshare I went to OCLC Service Configuration, then Worldcat Registry, then Online Catalog. I replaced the prevoius link resolvers with https://vcc-tic.primo.exlibrisgroup.com/...y,contains, and tested it out. It now works.

The details:
I went into worldshare, and searched for the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association. I compared the link we were using to the links from other VCCS libraries. I discovered that we are not the only VCCS library having this issue. The colleges were the links worked had slightly different URLS than the colleges were it did not. I copied the link from Blue Ridge, whose links work, and modified it to TCC and the link resolver format. I then replaced our current online catalog link resolvers in OCLC Service configuration.

Thank you Blue Ridge!

And since the forum abbreviated the URL the key change seems to be query=any, instead of query=lsr01,
