Service Alert: Proxy outage

All college library proxy servers are down. There is no off-campus access to library e-resources, which is a significant outage. I have alerted ITS.

Thank you for your patience. ITS has resolved this problem for all colleges.

The recent library server update did not account for weekly patch processes, which require servers to shut down and restart. The new servers failed to restart overnight as expected. ITS advised that this oversight was addressed today and we should not experience such an outage again.
