Two alternatives to tabbed navigation in LibGuides

Hi, Everyone,
 
I just posted this in the Springshare Lounge, but I wanted to post it here for those who don't visit the Springshare Lounge. 

I have built two prototype guides that employ Bootstrap 3 components for navigation purposes. One prototype uses collapsible panels and the other uses scrollspy. I have found that these alternative navigation “designs” are more user-friendly than the tabbed navigation used in LibGuides. I’m working on a write-up that will provide details.
