Problems with spam on email librarian delegated
#1
Sad Sad We have a link set up for e mail librarian. This was set up in 2008, prior to Anna Ray's departure. We don't receive any legimate questions only annoying spam. I have talked to the people at OCLC. They suggested that I go into the administrative mode of question point and activate the spam filter "Use Captcha" and later also to set up the verify the URL. They later stated that this was all they could do to try to stop the spam. This morning I had over 15 spam e mails in the account. This wastes my time having to delete all of the junk. Any help with this problem would be appreciated. George Mattis.

George: this is just a brief summary of our phone conversation. Those emails come from the VCCS 'Email Your Library' link and aren't related to QuestionPoint or the virtual reference service.

If you are having a problem with Spam to that account you might want to check with Gene to see if he can offer any options. jacque
