O'Reilly - Linking to Individual Titles - DWOETZEL - 06-11-2020

Does the following recommended method still hold true for linking directly to titles in the O'Reilly database?
http://vccs.libguides.com/c.php?g=982304&p=7104212

  1. Locate the O'Reilly title in QuickSearch
  2. Copy the title Permalink for use in Canvas, Guides, etc.
There is a considerably more complex manual linking method available, however, if the vendor makes changes on the platform, this type of manual link runs significant risk of breaking.

When I bring up an O'Reilly title from off-campus, I see our campus proxy information in the URL. Below is an example:
https://learning-oreilly-com.ezjsrcc.vccs.edu:2443/library/view/the-art-of/9781492045687/

So this URL is unstable?
