O'Reilly - Linking to Individual Titles

Does the following recommended method still hold true for linking directly to titles in the O'Reilly database?

1. Locate the O'Reilly title in QuickSearch
   
2. Copy the title Permalink for use in Canvas, Guides, etc.
   

There is a considerably more complex manual linking method available, however, if the vendor makes changes on the platform, this type of manual link runs significant risk of breaking.

When I bring up an O'Reilly title from off-campus, I see our campus proxy information in the URL. Below is an example:
https://learning-oreilly-com.ezjsrcc.vcc...492045687/

So this URL is unstable?
