All:
in response to training requests from far flung VCCS librarians, I have developed a 3 part QuestionPoint/LRC Live training using Webex. Part 1 is a do-it-yourself honor system review of the workstation, browser, and network requirements for doing QuestionPoint. Part 2 is a 'mostly watch and follow along' 2 hour Webex session, and Part 3 is a 'watch, follow along, and do hands on practice' session. Part 1 is listed below. Parts 2 and 3 will next be conducted on June 11 (part 2) and June 18 (part 3) from 10 am - noon. If you are interested in attending, please contact me directly at jdessino@tcc.edu. I will sign you up and send the Webex info.
Part 1: Even if you don't want to do parts 2 and 3, when was the last time you checked that your workstation was still set up correctly for QuestionPoint?
LRC Live Training Part 1: Preparing for Coverage
Before covering LRC Live, you have to make sure you meet the system requirements and have set up your browser properly.
The system requirements can be found at: http://www.questionpoint.org/web/requir ... index.html
The browser setup document is also available at http://www.questionpoint.org/support/do ... tsetup.pdf
In addition to these two documents you might also want to take a look at QuestionPoint Overview, available at http://www.questionpoint.org/support/do ... erview.pdf
When reading these documents, ignore or skip anything that references co-browsing. It does not work in our environment. Jacque
