PDCCC is everyone who can is teleworking. We can go into the office occasionally to take care of things that can't be done remotely, but we are not generally on campus, and the library as a physical entity is considered closed. We are providing remote assistance by phone and email. We have not yet had requests for holds.

Rappahannock (RCC) is now operating on a reduced schedule (Mon-Thurs 8:30-6, Fri 9-3) and is not open to the general public. The library is open to students and staff, mostly to provide Internet access for those with little or no home Internet. Starting on March 23 we are offering a pickup service for our public library patrons at the Warsaw campus, as well as students and faculty at both campuses. Requests are taken by phone and books/DVDs are placed in plastic bags and left at designated locations for pickup. Only the library coordinator has been teleworking so far, but today two additional staff requested and were approved to do so. All staff have been encouraged to request this if they want, but about half have no home Internet access.

Update: Rappahannock (RCC) is now completely closed, with staff all tele-working and library pickup services ended. RCC is checking out laptops to students needing them to complete their coursework and has deliberately enhanced the Wifi signal to parking lots and driveways for community use.

PVCC is now closed to the public, except for the poor computer lab (which is not under me). The library is closed and all staff is telecommuting until further notice.
